DALAT VALLEY OF LOVE (DA THIEN LAKE)

It is 5 km from Dalat in the North on the way from the University roundabout. ( 

From the French regime, it had the name vallée Damour. In 1953, it had Vietnamese name: “Thung Lung Tinh Yeu”. In 1972, a dam was built to make a pool for the agricultural zone of Da Thien (district 8now) and it was also called Da Thien Lake. The good points of this place are the beautiful pine hills, which are suitable for picnic on holidays in an area of 242 hectares. The area of the lake is 13 hectares.

Over the past two days, visitors to Dalat and to the Valley of Love have begun buying tickets for 100,000 VND for adults and 50,000 VND for children.
Previously, the ticket price here is only from 40,000 VND / adult ticket and 20,000 VND / ticket for children with height from 0.8 to 1.2 m. New tickets at Love Valley are valid from 1 March.

This is the second resort in Dalat since the beginning of 2017 to have soaring ticket prices. Dalat Palace 1 also increased the ticket price, from VND30,000 to VND150,000 / adult ticket and VND20,000 up to VND120,000 / ticket for children.
